Datel did it again, Action Replay for ALL PSP’s
Posted in Playstation Portable on December 27th, 2009 by Pirata Nervo

As you may remember, Datel claimed they could hack the PSP 3000 with a Pandora-like battery. Though it hasn’t been proved to be fake, many didn’t believe it actually worked.
However, this one is real.

According to wololo (developer of Wagic the Homebrew), Action Replay works on his PSP 2000 and his PSP Go.

It looks like Datel has done what everyone has been trying to do. Here’s what SilverSpring said:

Seems they have done it for real. If so, it’s finally game over for SCE. There’s nothing they can do to stop it.

Probably fw updates will attempt to block it, however all Datel need to do is release an new update. They can sign any code they want now.

Well, a congratulations I guess. They’ve finally done what was the ‘Holy Grail’ of the PSP scene. Pretty impressive work

It’s definitely a great step but I doubt Datel will ever share anything with us as they’ll make a good profit from it.
One thing, they seem to have used information from the scene, shared by developers, but they didn’t credit it.
Anyway, props to them and keep up the good work!,.But make sure next time you give proper credits too.

I’ve just updated my post, thanks for clarifying that.
I don’t believe Sony will sue them either, it will get more popular if they do
